After
University, I operated in the Meat, Frozen and
Chilled Food Sector covering all aspects from
farm to consumer. In the early 1980s I set up
my own Consultancy covering such areas as
legal advice and representation as well as
technical advice in food manufacture and
machinery.
My
clients and contacts range from small
independents to international organisations
and Government bodies. I believe in using
detailed photography and non-technical
language in order to demonstrate my philosophy
to my clients.
If
you have any sort of problem with food
production; chilled, fresh or frozen goods,
especially meat, I can -
- Arbitrate between you and your
supplier or customer with regard to quality,
wholesomeness, integrity and fitness of
ingredients or finished product.
- Provide assistance with matters
relating to Trading Standards Departments
and Environmental Health Departments and the
Food Standards Agency.
- Advise on more efficient or cost
effective manufacturing methods and factory
layout - and as a practical person - I am
well aware of the difference between
desirability and affordability.
- Supply new and second-hand food
machinery - and tell you how to lay it out
- Provide engineering assistance
